The Lakes project was designed as a holiday home for a client.

The house itself was a tired 1960's build in need of modernising, it's key attribute was it's position offering unrivalled views of Lake Windermere.

 

Our brief was to reinvent the interior to create a contemporary living space using natural materials. The scheme was based around maple and limestone as the core materials as these gave a natural element to the scheme but at the same time retained a light contemporary feel.
