Nicholas Sunderland, Interior designer in London, was commissioned by the CEO of a world leading insurance company in the City to design and architecturally improve the interior of an historic new development. Restructuring the interior city apartment to create more open plan living and integrating new LED lighting throughout.
Floating bookcases and media units were designed and fitted as wall hung floating pieces. I created a Mondrian style wall units with ability to change the colours within the spaces as a kinetic art form to change with the mood. A wave kitchen island in recycled glass and Hi Macs stone was an impressive addition to the open plan kitchen mirroring the unique shape of the sofa. Clever use of light and mirrors created a floating effect.
