Neo-Classical Comfort: Mayfair Apartment with Calibre Climate, Gallery and Hubert Zandberg Interiors

The mechanical brief in this property called for a whisper-quiet solution with minimal visual impact, requiring property-wide cooling and ventilation, designed to support the architectural and decorative intent of each space rather than compete with it.

In the principal bedroom, supply air is introduced through slots formed within a flat, horizontal downward-facing plane at the top of the joinery, leaving the air distribution entirely concealed from normal view. 

In the lounge, slim plaster-in slots are integrated within the window recesses, positioned away from the main sightlines so the room reads cleanly and uninterrupted. 

In the kitchen, air is supplied from above the top of the joinery, allowing the service to disappear into the architectural detailing. 

This level of concealment was made possible by early design-stage coordination, ensuring the environmental strategy could be fully integrated into the interior scheme from the outset. The overall project formed part of a wider Calibre solution for discreet, whisper-quiet cooling and ventilation throughout the house, developed to align with the design vision and planning constraints of the property.
