The BIID Website Needs Your Images!
The latest BIID website launched in late 2014, with the aim of showing off our members' work in a highly visual and clean way. For the first time, we gave all of our members' profiles the ability to upload and display an image.
The image you upload to the BIID website is displayed on your main profile page, and on the thumbnail of your company in BIID Member or Industry Partner searches. This allows clients to get a taste of the work you do and can set your profile apart from others around you. It also looks much better than the default image that will otherwise appear!
Uploading an image to your profile is easy. Simply log in to the BIID Members Area, click on "Update Profile" on the left-hand column, and upload your image by clicking the grey "Add Profile Image" button. When you're done, don't forget to click the black "Update featured image" button!
It only takes a few moments and will really brighten up your BIID Profile. For Full Members, this is the first thing potential clients will see when you submit your name to a referral, so make it count!
-
To keep a level of professionalism and consistency in our BIID Member Profiles ask ask that you adhere to the following rules:
- Project/Product images only - no mugshots!
- No CAD - show us your finished designs
We also recommend the following for your image:
- It should be less than 2 megabytes
- It should be no smaller than 950x495 pixels
- It should be landscape in orientation
If you're having any trouble uploading your BIID image, please do not hesitate to contact the BIID office, who will be glad to upload your image for you.
