Oceania - Eco-Friendly Premium Velvet Carpet

Oceania is our newest eco-friendly carpet range. Like its sister, Maribella, Oceania is made from ECONYL®, a yarn manufactured from abandoned fishing nets retrieved from many of the World’s oceans and seas, plus recycled carpets destined for landfill, and fabric scraps from mills.

The fishing net retrieval is carried out by a wonderful charity called Healthy Seas, using "ghost divers' around the World. We are very proud to be a Healthy Seas partner, and donate a percentage of the sale of every Oceania Carpet to the charity so they can continue with their great work. It makes a huge difference and has been responsible for protecting marine life throughout the World.

Of course, with discerning interior designers as our clients, the environmental credentials are great, but only because it's coupled with a very high quality carpet. 

Our latest beautiful cut pile velvet carpet is:

• Hard wearing - with a heavy domestic traffic classification including stairs, and also suitable for commercial rooms
• Stain resistant
• Bleach resistant - ratio of 1/10 household bleach to water
• Suitable for underfloor heating with a low tog rating of 1.15
• IUV resistant
• Moth proof
• Available in eight soft neutral shades to grace any home
• Super thick - 10mm
