Caroline Cobbold Design Ltd project
Onslow Square
1970’s purpose- built serviced apartment block in South Kensington.
This was a 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment which was re-configured entirely inside, modernised and redecorated throughout.
I used a blue seagrass on the walls in the sitting room and antique mirror glass in the both the sitting room and the kitchen to create a feeling of added space.
The apartment was west facing with a lot of natural light so it could take the strong wall colour.
The internal entrance hall used a Kit Miles dark navy blue wallpaper including wrapping around concealed coat cupboard doors.
The guest bedroom had one bespoke fixed bedhead made from english walnut, designed by Caroline Cobbold which allowed for a double bed with drop down tables either side or 2 x single beds formation with the drop down table in- between. The reading lights were fixed to allow perfect placement for both options.
