Fuji Lake Hotel’s project is to transform the hotel designed for groups and banquets into a lifestyle hotel targeting individual stays.
This is a renovation project for a 70-room resort hotel that was founded 90 years ago and is the oldest in Fujikawaguchiko, Japan’s leading mountain resort area, located at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
Noteworthy features of this project are the entrance lobby, lounge, guest rooms in the west wing, and private salon.
In addition, the design incorporated the lake and mountain views that spread out in front of the windows, and the colours, motifs, and lighting were planned to connect the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly.
