WHAT IF AN OUTFIT BECAME AN INTERIOR?
A PLAYFUL, COLOUR-CONFIDENT APARTMENT IN A GRADE II LISTED LANDMARK LONDON FIRE STATION, SW1
That question became the creative foundation for this one‑bedroom apartment within Westminster Fire Station, a Grade II‑listed residential conversion in Victoria. As Creative Director for the development, Studio L London defined the “old meets new” concept for the project and was commissioned to create a boutique‑hotel aesthetic with immediate impact for its first showcase home.
Our response was playful considered yet unexpectedly luxe, and rooted in a single creative question: What if André 3000's iconic sartorial style—and the lyrics from his song "So Fresh, So Clean"—were translated into a decor? Add a Kindercore primary palette and Wes Anderson whimsy for the cherry on top.
