Our refurbishment and basement extension at Springfield Road, St Johns Wood, is currently in the construction phase, and works are progressing on site with expected completion at the end of 2025. The existing house is a mid-19th-century, semi-detached villa.

The project is a sustainable refurbishment incorporating air source heat pumps, MVHR, and continuous internal insulation. All windows are being replaced, refurbished, or reglazed with high-performance units as appropriate. The scheme uses natural, breathable materials, including wood fibre, cork, lime, stone, and timber. An extensive drainage and rainwater harvesting strategy includes a green roof, blue roof, and attenuation tank.

A large basement extension provides a gym, cinema and spare guest bedrooms.
