The Design Net Ltd project
Wigmore Hall Featuring Crassevig Anna Chairs & Bespoke Tables
For this project at the iconic Wigmore Hall in London, The Design Net combined carefully specified contract furniture with bespoke manufacturing to furnish both the restaurant and its flexible training and recital room.
Our involvement began with a detailed sampling process to ensure every finish worked with the character of the existing interior. Crassevig Anna stacking chairs were selected for their refined profile, durability and practical storage. The chairs were upholstered in Kvadrat Tonus fabric, using several shades of pink chosen to complement the richly coloured carpet.
The timber frames and tables were stained specifically to coordinate with the warm wood panelling and existing architectural details throughout the restaurant and training room. The aim was to make the new furniture feel naturally connected to its surroundings, rather than appearing as a separate addition.
For the training room, we also produced bespoke table tops designed to fit HOWE Tempest flip-top table bases. This created a flexible furniture system that could be arranged for training, meetings and hospitality, then folded, stacked and stored when the space was required for a recital.
The completed scheme balances the visual warmth expected of Wigmore Hall with the practical demands of a busy, multi-purpose venue. It is a strong example of how branded furniture, considered specification and bespoke manufacturing can be brought together to answer both the aesthetic and operational requirements of a project.
