Wokingham NHS Medical Centre

Working with Barbara Weiss Architects, The Design Net supplied Crassevig Asia chairs and Asia beam seating for the Wokingham NHS medical centre project.

The seating was specified for patient waiting and circulation areas, where comfort, durability and ease of maintenance were important considerations. Crassevig’s Asia collection offered a clean, contemporary solution that complemented the light, calm architectural scheme while meeting the practical requirements of a busy healthcare environment.

To ensure the seating integrated with the wider interior palette, the stainless steel frames were finished to a bespoke RAL colour. The chairs were upholstered in specialist Panaz fabrics with microbial protection, providing an appropriate solution for an environment where hygiene and infection control protocols are particularly important.

The project demonstrates The Design Net’s ability to support architects with more than furniture supply alone. From coordinating bespoke finishes and upholstery specifications to working with manufacturers on project-specific requirements, we help ensure each product is suited to both the design intent and the operational demands of the space.
