BIID Quickfire on Ethical Sourcing
The Quickfire Series has been created to enable our members to find out more about key subjects in a timely easy to digest format. This event will focus on ethical sourcing.
Transparency of your supply chain is essential for ethical sourcing, and knowing who, and how, products are sourced and produced is the beating heart. Supporting small artisans and local communities and working with suppliers that have policies against modern slavery and cruelty are only the start.
The BIID has invited six suppliers to present for 5 minutes each on how they approach ethical sourcing in the design and implementation of their products.
The event will last approximately 45 minutes with an opportunity for Q and A.
Future events in the Quickfire Series will include:
- Wellness and Wellbeing - 11th February 2021
- Sustainability - 11th March 2021
- Retrofit - 15th April 2021
