London Design Week 2019 at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is the design event for
excellence.
With 120 exhibitors and over 600 international brands, view the ultimate design collective. More than 100 experiences are taking place, with creative excellence as the common thread running through it all. There are new launches and designer collaborations; meet-the-designer sessions; artisan demonstrations and expert guidance, unseen anywhere else. T
The return of 'Legends' sees showroom windows and showcases at their finest, expressing all the sophisticated glamour of the prevailing mood in design. This year, it's all about individual style so expect a cosmopolitan mix in the showrooms; layers of vibrant colour, rich materials and eclectic points of inspiration that speak of history, travel and craftsmanship.
On the main stage, Conversations in Design
excels with a stellar line-up, while Workshops and Design Discovery Tours
expand on the show's upbeat mood. Specially commissioned places to eat and
drink complement the events programme and make Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour a
lively destination where influencers, tastemakers and the design community
comes together.

Design Heritage: Inspired by the past to re-imagine the future
TALK, First Floor, Design Centre East
Sharing a respect for our rich and enduring design heritage, three internationally acclaimed designers explore how they are inspired to create imaginative spaces for the world we live in today. Russell Sage, founder of Russell Sage Studio fresh from his latest project restoring a Victorian lodge in Braemar, Katharine Pooley whose eponymous design studio has worked on landmark projects worldwide and Beata Heuman, a designer renowned for looking at the past and to the future, talk to editorial director Sarah Spiteri about how they fuse heritage and modernity.

These carefully curated talks and panel discussions on the main stage enable visitors to get top level insights from influential figures as well as rising stars.
