CICAIR Approved Inspectors Code of Conduct - Initial Consultation Survey
The Construction Industry Council Approved Inspectors Register (CICAIR Ltd) is the designated body responsible for managing the approval and termination of approval of Approved Inspectors in accordance with section 49 of the Building Act 1984 and Part 2 of the Building (Approved Inspectors etc.) Regulations 2010. CICAIR Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Construction Industry Council.
CICAIR are in the process of reviewing the Code of Conduct that Approved Inspectors must follow. They are right at the start of this process and are keen to gather as much input from as many people as possible so that all views and opinions can be taken into account. The existing Code of Conduct can be downloaded by clicking here.
The survey should not take more than 5-10 minutes to complete. It only has 5 questions and uses multiple choice answers and agreement scales e.g. 1 to 5 to make the task as easy as possible. If you wish to make additional more substantial comments, they would welcome this and there will be an email address at the end of the survey for you to send these to.
