Ralf Eikelberg

Ralf Eikelberg studied and practised as an Interior Architect in Germany before graduating from the Bartlett with a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture. He was a senior member of established design lead Architect's practices before becoming a co-director of London Atelier in 2010. Ralf specialised in designing within the existing and new build sectors, remodelling and working on listed buildings at various scales. London Atelier's meticulous eye for detail, construction and innovation combined with the appropriate materiality and custom solutions is a trade mark of their designs. The client brief is paramount. Every project is unique and deserves the best possible design solution to enable and unlock its full potential.

Before his time in London, he was involved in architectural practices and a lighting design firm based in Berlin. Further, he has worked with the Italian Architect Paolo Portoghesi in Rome. Ralf has been involved in high-profile projects ranging from residential buildings and exhibitions to commercial projects. These projects included the London Library, News International London, St. Marylebone School extension, the Hauser+Wirth Gallery in London and the new Centre Pompidou Metz, France. Several projects won numerous awards, including the National RIBA Awards for public and private buildings, steel and concrete awards and the prestigious RIBA Stephen Lawrence prize.
