Become a BIID Regional Ambassador

The BIID are searching for members to join our Regional Ambassadors team

Annie Haimes Speaking

For the past 18 months the BIID has been working with a team of Regional Ambassadors to strengthen our presence across the United Kingdom. These ambassadors have been building relationships, hosting events, and promoting professionalism in the industry. They encourage non members to join the BIID, and create a community for existing members and interior designers in their region.

The BIID would like to welcome more Registered Interior Designers or Associate members to become a Regional Ambassador, working with our existing team.

Why become a Regional Ambassador:

  • Profile Raising: Ambassadors will feature on the BIID website and all social media platforms
  • Networking Opportunities: Ambassadors will represent the BIID at industry events meeting other BIID members, interior designers and suppliers
  • Skill Development: Being an ambassador can help develop a range of skills, including PR and public speaking

For me, the best part of being a Regional Ambassador is getting out and about to various events, meeting and chatting with people I wouldn’t have otherwise met.

Ruth Turner Jones, Regional Ambassador Midlands and East Anglia

Being a Regional Ambassador for the BIID has given me the opportunity to connect with designers and suppliers across the region, as well as to speak at events, something I really enjoy. I’m excited to see this role continue to evolve and to help build a strong, supportive community of design professionals outside of London. I’m a passionate supporter of the BIID’s mission to educate and connect, and I’m delighted to play a part in advancing that mission across the North and North West

Anna Bennett, Regional Ambassador North and North West

BIID Regional Ambassadors are expected to:

  • Dedicate time and effort to fulfil their roles and responsibilities as outlined in the terms of reference
  • Maintain open communication with the BIID office and fellow ambassadors
  • Act professionally and uphold the BIID's code of conduct in all interactions
  • Attend meetings and training sessions organised by the BIID as necessary
