BIID Announces 2019/2020 Professional Practice Series

The BIID are excited to announce that registrations are now open for our annual Professional Practice Seminars that are hosted and led by renowned design business consultant, Dr Rachel Smart. The Professional Practice series cover a variety of significant topics that help interior designers develop their business skills and improve practice management.

This year's Professional Practice series will take place at citizenM Tower Hill

Confirmed dates are as follows:

Thursday 14th November 2019 - PP1: Understanding Strategy & Writing a Business Plan

Thursday 12th December 2019 - PP2: Project Management & Managing Contracts

Thursday 16th January 2020 - PP3: Financial Management & Accounting for Designers

Thursday 20th February 2020 - PP4: Writing a Marketing Plan to Win More Clients

BIID members are able to attend all Professional Practice series courses available at a discounted rate of £175 each (non-members £245) and to assist members from outside of the London area we also have the travelling member rate of £140. The one day sessions can be attended either on their own or as a series.  There are 14 places on each of the Professional Practice workshops so early booking is advised to secure a spot.
