Could You Inspire the Next Generation of Interior Designers?
We're looking for BIID Registered Interior Designer® to volunteer as mentors for our Student Design Challenge this November
The BIID Student Design Challenge returns from 9–16 November 2026, bringing together final-year interior design students from across the UK to tackle a creative design brief.
We're inviting BIID Registered Interior Designer® to share their professional experience and guide a team of students through the challenge, offering advice, encouragement and practical insights into working in the industry.
Mentoring is a rewarding opportunity to give something back to the profession, support emerging talent and help students build the confidence and skills they need as they prepare for their careers. It's also a chance to gain fresh perspectives from the next generation of designers.
The challenge takes place entirely online, with mentors supporting their teams through scheduled check-ins as they develop their designs.
Interested in getting involved?
We'd love to hear from you! Please contact info@biid.org.uk to register your interest or find out more.
