BIID Regional Ambassadors: 1 Year On

Meet your local ambassador and help grow your community

The BIID Regional Ambassador Scheme has now been established for 1 year. As we reach this milestone, we thought it is the perfect time to reflect on what the ambassadors have been doing and remind you of how to meet your local representative.

The past year has seen ambassadors hosting meet and greets at regional exhibitions, participating in panels at regional exhibitions, promoting the BIID to local interior designers and representing the BIID with suppliers, even featuring on a podcast. But at the core of all their activities, is the desire to build regional BIID interior design communities.

Katherine Elworthy BIID Chief Operating Officer said "The Regional Ambassadors have impressed us with their determination to grow their local interior design community. We are incredibly grateful to have such dedicated members that have volunteered for this challenge to improve the connection of interior designers outside of London."

What you can expect for the future

We see the desire for face-to-face events growing and our Regional Ambassadors are working hard with BIID Accredited CPD Providers to deliver regional CPDs. The BIID and the Regional Ambassadors are working with RIBA to strengthen relationships with architects and to partner on appropriate initiatives. You will see Regional Ambassadors attending exhibitions throughout your region.
