Crestron to Host BIID Networking Breakfast
Crestron, the luxury home automation specialist, is hosting a BIID Breakfast Networking event at its technology showroom at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour on 4th June (8:30-10:30). The perfect venue for such an event, Crestron’s Chelsea showroom offers an insight into how today’s interior designs can be complemented by the seamless integration of home technology.
The Crestron showroom, on the second floor of the South Dome in the world renowned Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, has recently been updated and now features the latest in 4K distribution (Ultra High Definition video content), the new Pyng® home automation system, as well as state of the art home control solutions, making it the perfect spot for interior design professionals to immerse themselves in all that home technology has to offer.
Petra Van Meeuwen, EMEA Media Relations Manager comments, “This is our first BIID breakfast event and we are thrilled to be hosting it within our showroom; there has been an increased demand for technology within residential schemes and it is important for interior designers to understand how technology fits together with their schemes and that technology can enhance an interior.”
The integration of technology in homes has rapidly increased over the last few years; in fact, as home technology has become more accessible, consumers expect properties to include technology that improves their home experience. The Crestron showroom provides a space where designers can discover how to bridge the gap between technology and interior design. After many years working with the BIID and interior designers, Crestron fully understand the importance of integrating technology into a home without negatively affecting the aesthetics.
BIID Executive Manager Katherine Elworthy comments: ‘We’re delighted to be collaborating with Crestron on this event at its inspiring showroom at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. The event will provide members with a great opportunity to find out more about the integration of technology in interior design schemes, as well as finding out more about the BIID and our membership benefits.”
The BIID Breakfast is a great opportunity for interior designers wanting to find out more about the Institute, who may be interested in joining and would like to know more about membership and the benefits it can provide. The breakfast provides the ideal opportunity to meet with existing BIID members, hear more about what the institute has to offer and have your questions answered.
