Have a say: the cic is looking for an on-the-ground perspective of what inspires designers
It invites professionals across all disciplines and of all ages and stages in their careers to participate and in so doing provide an insider’s view of what will constitute a successful industry and work environment, going forward.
Louise Clarke, Chair of the CIC 2050 Group said of the survey: “The future success of the construction industry depends on its people and the industry therefore needs to better understand what’s important to the people working in it, what motivates them and what changes might encourage new people to join. This is an important piece of work and its success is dependent on the widest possible participation. I encourage everyone to contribute.”
The survey will enable individuals to express their views on whether they find the built environment an inspirational industry to work in and why; it will guide the CIC 2050 Group in its strategic planning for future activities; and its findings will inform a report which will be circulated among senior industry figures and the main industry bodies via the Construction Leadership Council. When completed, the report will be published and available free, online to download.
