Hotel Design Show Sleep Returns November 2014
GeorgeYabu and Glenn Pushelberg
are to speak in the conference at Sleep, taking place on 26-27 November at the
Business Design Centre in London. The
conference is free to attend for all visitors to Sleep, and an unparalleled and
exclusive opportunity to meet and mix with world leaders in hotel design today.
Yabu Pushelberg is known for
iconic and contemporary hotel design, including W Hotel, Times Square in New
York, Public Hotel in Chicago and The London EDITION. Also speaking is the Parisian design duo
Jouin Manku, designers of Mandarin Oriental and Plaza Athénée in Paris and
Fontevraud L’hôtel in the Loire Valley.
Renowned as Europe’s leading hotel design and
development event, Sleep also features Sleep Set, the hotly- contested design
competition. This year’s entrants - who include Dreimeta,
acclaimed for pushing the boundaries in gritty urban hotel design, SKM Design,
a recent newcomer to hospitality design, and Manchester-based creative studio
NoChintz - have been asked to design a room for Hotel Simplexity, a fictitious new
hotel brand. With one room remaining,
this is an exciting opportunity to showcase design talents to the

With a feast of ideas, innovation and inspiration, visitors
will be able to explore the latest design-led products from hand-picked
exhibitors who include GROHE, Altfield, Dornbracht, Harlequin Contract,

Dare Studio, Tuuci and Swarovski.
