Quickfire Series: Sustainability

The Quickfire Series has been created to enable our members to find out more about key subjects in a timely easy to digest format. This event focusses on sustainability. In a recent poll, 1.2 million people in 50 countries were questioned by the UN Development Programme (UNDP) about the current climate crisis, two-thirds of those that answered agreed that climate change is a global emergency. As interior designers, what can we do to source and specify products and services that not only care for the environment, but also work towards creating a better one? The BIID invited six suppliers to present for 5 minutes each on how they approach sustainability in the design and implementation of their products.
