Join the BIID for upcoming workshops designed to improve your hand drawing skills and get your creative juices flowing

The BIID are delighted to announce a calendar of practical workshops for interior designers looking to enhance their hand drawing skills in sketching and rendering.

First up is our popular event ‘Speedy Sketching for Interior Designers’ where tutor and architect Gianfrancesco De Falco will guide you through a no-fuss results driven 3-hour workshop to hone your perspective skills, creating fast and effective interior sketches for your clients and contractors.

If a picture can paint a thousand words, breathing life into your sketch is the next step, 'Speedy Rendering for Interior Designers' will do just that, Gianfrancesco is on board again to guide designers through rendering techniques to add depth and texture through shading and will introduce the materials required to achieve confident skectches that will sell your story.

A departure from speedy site-based work, join us for a relaxing and creative day out at the V&A sketching the amazing interiors of this wonderful gallery with drawing enthusiasts, interior designers, and Past Presidents, Lester Bennett and Charles Leon. ‘Confident Sketching’ is for designers that would like to connect with their surroundings and explore space and place guided by tutors that create beautiful works using pen on paper.
